7Pass 3.6 is now available globally for Windows Phone 7.5 or later (WP8).
What’s new
- Removed .doc renaming since it’s no longer required.
- Switched to SkyDrive OAuth 2.0.
- Added file limit of 10MB. You will now no longer able to add new KeePass databases that is larger than 10MB. 7Pass cannot reliably handle large databases so it’s better to prevent user from adding it in the first place than fail to process it later.
- Updated url for Box.net WebDAV.
- Fixed issue with cases when folder names are not displayed in WebDAV.
All users of 7Pass are recommended to upgrade to this version as Microsoft is going to retire the old SkyDrive authentication, and we have less than 30 days before the old authentication will be blocked, meaning users will no longer able to add new database from SkyDrive, or synchronize database to SkyDrive with older versions of 7Pass.
What’s next
7Pass for Windows Store (7Pass RT) is in development, and I plan to have 7Pass for Windows Phone 8 after that.

You made my Day! Finaly a update to one of the best Windows Phone Apps! In the meantime, without so many days without any News from this App, i have thinked about a switch to a other Mobile OS. But now i see a little bit progress. Van are your Contact informatiuon correct? I have tried to reach you multiple ways, but i get no response (Twitter, E-Mail and so on). I hope all is ok with you.

Awesome news! Glad to see 7Pass be continually supported! Is the Windows RT development going to take a long time? I’m personally more excited about a Windows Phone 8 version! Just curious if you have any rough timeline estimates I guess!

I keep getting an error now when trying to synchronize my database (stored in SkyDrive) and keeps failing. Will no longer sync.
OK, I think the new Auth changes meant I have to delete and re-add the file. However as I have 2-step turned on it was near impossible to get the app up, signed in connect to skydrive, sign in to live then switch back to the key maker app, then back to 7pass and log back in to the app, back in the skydrive and get the code entered before it timed out.
Might want to see if there is something you can do about that, possibly you can’t though.
You must generate a special App Password. After that you can use this new App Password to access SkyDrive via 7Pass without using 2Step Auth.

First I need to thank you for your amazing work ! The whole app is working very well. But there is one thing that works not that good: I often have Keepass databases with long passwords and on my iPad and before my windows phone on my iPhone they opened well. But since I use 7pass it needs 5-10 minutes to load a database with like 24 character passwords. I hope you fix that so I can open my databases much faster.

Thank you. Thank you very much. This is a great app. The SkyDrive file renaming thing has been bothering me because I’ve been unable to set up automatic synchronization between my devices, but now that’s not an issue any more.
I’ve been using the free version, but I promptly downloaded and paid for the full version to show my gratitude. And now that automatic synchronization is no longer an issue, I expect I’ll be doing the same thing for my wife.

Thank you for the nice app. Recently, I’ve run into a dilemma with 3.6 where one db on skydrive won’t sync. I get the check url error message. The file may have been renamed on Skydrive. Is there anyway to view the url it’s trying to query?
Could you please explain under what for circumstates 7Pass creates a mydatabase-conflicted-copy.kdbx on my WebDAV Folder? I run in to this problem very often, after synchronizing to 7Pass, changing the database and resync it to the WebDAV folder. Is there a workaround or something i can do to resolve this issue?
I have a problem with 7pass sync: SW syncs only from PC to WP8, not able to sync from WP8 to PC. I have tried both Dropbox and Skydrive, but when I save changes on my WP8, changes do not get replicated back to PC via Dropbox or Skydrive. I am using latest version of 7pass on my WP8 and KeePass 2.23.
I have tried now all syncing possibility like WebDav, Dropbox, SkyDrive. After adding, edditing and resyncing the database again i get allways a conflicted copy on the server. No matter what i do, its always the same after updating to version 3.6 on WP 7.8. Could you please fix the Sync and Conflict detection behavior as fast, as you can?

Free version displays “reminder” 5 times, nothing else.
Based on 7Pass 3.6.0.0 I have made some changes. Optionally you can search now for passwords, there is a autosync feature, search results are now with more details and you can update database details (connection URL, credentials) and some small UI changes. This version is build for Windows phone 7.8. Than I have made another build for Windows phone 8.1 with the same features as above plus file association and open files directly from the phone. Please contact me for a complete Changelog or the source code. If I have some user feedback, I could add more features like ftp access and more.
